From discussions on intergenerational resistance to creative healing spaces and a closing celebration of Black joy, this year’s events uplift the voices of students, educators, parents, caregivers, and communities fighting for justice in schools.
Today is the birthday my new book Teach Truth: The Struggle for Antiracist Education--the official release day!! Like a proud parent, I’m overjoyed to finally see it out in the world. Writing this book has been a wild journey for me and I have learned so much along the way.
