Jesse Hagopian Speaks at Trayvon Martin Vigil: What I couldn’t say to my son about Trayvon Martin

Jesse gave this speech on at a several thousand person strong rally in Seattle for Trayvon Martin in an effort to connect his racially motivated murder to the “New Jim Crow”.

Jesse Spoke at a forum organized by Real Change News about the plan to build a new jail in King County–at the same time they announced the plan to close schools. The fight to stop the jail was successful. The schools were ultimately closed.
